Please view two lists of names that are posted in several locations—one list contains soldiers who have been confirmed for the Wall and the other contains the names of those who are unconfirmed.
Please review the confirmed list and provide any missing information.
Also, please review the unconfirmed list and provide missing data as well as a copy of their military discharge documents such as a DD214, NGB22, or other evidence of their service.
The Leland “Military Wall of Honor” honors the soldiers from the Leland School District who served honorably in the military. The Wall will include soldiers who served on active duty as well as those who served in the National Guard or Reserve, or a combination of both.
The names and year of birth of the honorees, along with their rank and branch of service (Army, Navy, Air Force, etc.), will be engraved on 4’ by 8’ granite slabs placed on the front lawn of the Leland Public Library.
