It’s time to save the date! It's time to send in your reservation! Mark your calendar for Friday, May 3, 2024 for the Leland Combined Class Reunion.
The weekend will be filled with fun events to reunite with friends and enjoy our hometown beginning that Thursday evening.
A night at all four of the Leland Museums (The Highway 61 Blues Museum, The Mississippi Wildlife Heritage Museum, The Our Town and Beyond Museum, and the Jim Henson Museum.) The hours are 5-8 PM and admission will be free. This will be a great start to the reunion weekend as we cruise the town, enjoy the museums and see old friends.
The reunion will be held at the Washington County Convention Center from 6-10 PM. The social hour will begin at 6 PM with wine and cheese provided. A cash bar will also be provided with beer and set-ups to BYOB. A catered dinner will begin at 7 PM and a live band will play from 7:45 - 10 PM. The 2024 (32nd annual) Leland Crawfish Festival. This is the oldest running crawfish festival in Mississippi and celebrates the Cajun culture and those who brought it to the Delta from the bayous of Louisiana. Street side meeting areas for individual classes will be available as well as certain businesses open to gather and mingle. Please let us know if your class will want a tent area so that they will have an accurate number for set-up. This event will extend the visit with former classmates from Friday night throughout the day on Saturday. Each class can also make their own individual plans for that day and evening.
